With options for residence or homestay, we are committed to helping you feel at home during your academic year at Highland Academy.

STUDENT RESIDENCE

​

 

We offer a residence facility for students in Grades 9 to 12. We own and operate our student residence which is located within a short distance of our main building to ensure maximum comfort and security for all students. The residence is not co-educational. There are designated floors, so that male and female students live on separate floors. The entire residence (and the school itself) is closely monitored to ensure a safe and comfortable stay.

 

 

Residence Information:

  • Cost: Between $1250-1850 per month

  • Private or Shared Room option

  • Rooms include bed, desk, closet space

  • 3 meals daily and snacks

  • Fees include utilities ( heat, water, electricity)

  • Regular social activities

  • Free Wifi

  • Live in Residence Manager and Homework Supervisor

  • Residence Life Program

  • Shared dining, living, bathroom and kitchen

  • Laundry facilities

  • Common room with TV

  • Designated study area

 

 

The Residence Life Program is mandatory for students staying in residence. During weekday evenings, students can choose between supervised study sessions or a student activity supervised by the Residence Staff. Students may be mandated into supervised study sessions by parents or staff with the best interests in mind.

HOMESTAY PLACEMENT

Managed by Highland Academy, our homestay program offers students a great opportunity to experience Canadian culture and practice English by living with Canadian families or Individuals. The distance from the school will vary however we always strive to find homestays within 60 minutes travel time from our campus location.

  • Cost: Between $1250-1600 per month

  • Private or Shared room option

  • Shared or private bathroom

  • Shared dining, living and kitchen facilities

  • 3 meals per day

  • Rooms include bed, desk, closet space

  • Care and support of a Canadian family

  • Share your culture

  • Practice your English in real life situation
