It is with great honour and privilege to be co-founding Highland Academy of Canada. I am honoured to have the opportunity to lead this new school initiative.

Our School’s simple aim is to utilize new age pedagogical approaches through hi-tech project-venture based experiential learning to cultivate new, innovative and creative thinkers for the 21 century! 

​

Our school caters to local and international high school students who have a keen interest in sciences and technology but who want to experience a holistic educational experience as well. We are looking for students who are interested in more than your typical classroom experience where one can learn through developing real technological creations. Students will even have the opportunity to work in unison with startup companies on campus.

​

During these past few weeks, I have had many interactions with different stakeholders. From these conversations, it is clear to me there is a keen common interest in seeing a change in education. I look forward to fostering this notion and working with teachers and staff to provide a world-class new thinking educational experience for each child.

I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than sixteen years with a specific interest in technology and new pedological thinking.  My administrative experience has been shaped by six years of successful leadership as a previous Head of School and six years as a Dean of Students.  I am elated to bring my skills as an educational leader to Highland Academy and to work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child’s success.

Along with teachers and staff, we will work hard to build a legacy of success at Highland Academy! All of us at Highland Academy are eager and excited to begin what promises to be a very exciting year. As your Head of School, it is important to me that everyone who steps through our doors is excited to be here! My door is always open and I welcome your input. Please feel free to stop in and chat about any concerns, suggestions, or ideas you have to help make this the best year yet!
